Podpadstudios saw the fantastic exhibition Beyond a Joke in the wonderful Artsite as part of Swindon Arts Fringe 2024. We were blown away by not just the art, but also the conversation we had, about a subject that affects half our society but is still not often discussed. We are proud to present, 'Beyond a Joke' for the second week only, in the modern surrounds of the nearby Workshed communal area.

Beyond a Joke

Lisa Lowe is a ceramic artist and has been making functional ceramics under the pseudonym ooh lovely lilo ceramics for many years, she has recently completed an exhibition Beyond A Joke! Where she has morphed clay into the 34 symptoms of Menopause creating 34 vases and these will be on display on the 21st September at her home Open Studios in Old Town and at the CarriageWorks on the 28th and 29th September.
